JAMES RILEY
James Riley, renowned bassist of the metalcore powerhouse The Ghost Inside, joins the Musician’s Golf Association with a wealth of musical talent and resilience. As a pivotal member of The Ghost Inside, James has played an integral role in shaping the band’s sound and legacy over the years.
The journey of The Ghost Inside is one of perseverance and triumph, marked by their unwavering dedication to their craft even in the face of adversity. Following a tragic bus accident in 2015 that left the band members with severe injuries, James and his bandmates embarked on a journey of recovery and resurgence, defying the odds to make a triumphant return to the stage and studio.
With their highly anticipated self-titled album released in 2020, The Ghost Inside also continued to push forward musically, releasing music that reflected not only the past few years of their lives, but also their songwriting style and showed a band truly pushing and maturing their sound. James’s contributions to the band’s sound and his unwavering commitment to their vision have solidified them not only people who can push back and overcome the impossible, but also show us that anything is truly possible.
As James Riley joins the Musician’s Golf Association, his passion for music and golf converge, adding depth and diversity to our community. We welcome James with open arms and look forward to teeing off with him on the green, celebrating the intersection of music and sport in the spirit of defying the odds on and off the green and the stage.
