Derek “Lunatic” Bjornson, or just “Lunatic” as PGA champion John Daly calls him, is a professional drummer for Savage After Midnight (S.A.M.) and lifelong golfer based in Detroit, Michigan.

Starting at both golf and drums at a very young age, he can drive the ball off the tee just as absurd as he can sling the sticks on the mainstage.

 

After taking some time away from the green to focus on his initial drumming career, he has found his swing again and since joining S.A.M. in 2019, is often hitting the links with bandmate, S.A.M. singer and keyboardist, JT Shaheen.

If he’s not behind the drums then he’s out on the course, but wherever you find him he’ll be tearing it up and causing some chaos.
